Solutions for
EFFICIENT LIGHTING
It’s not new that since quite a long time ago till nowadays, a raising interest has come out about Environment as well as production of polluting gases to atmosphere, which means, in general terms, a greater conscience about how necessary is to reduce energy consumption.
In this context, governments and public statements have developed plans for a better use of energy sources, and particularly electrical consumption, where public lighting becomes an important part of it. Due to this, on the 4th of April 2009 in Spain appeared the new regulation for Energetic Efficiency for Outdoor Lighting Installations, becoming a notable change either in tendencies, customs and criteria applied since then on lighting necessities and their solutions.
In R. Ros Alguer, S.A., convinced that the tendency of energy sources optimization is a non-returning path, we have pushed hard for the development of lighting solutions to achieve the aims of efficiency and good behaviour, thus presenting this catalogue with a wide range of optical kits with their applications to lanterns.
We would like to remark that some examples have been included showing calculations for particular installa- tions using these solutions, always fulfilling requirements of Spanish Regulations on Energetic Efficiency for Outdoor Lighting Installations, achieving maximum energetic classification category.
Our wish is that this catalogue can become a very useful publication to promote a wide family of product that surely will give lighting specifiers enough tools to cover their necessities on their projects. |
